Hi! I'm Tristen, it's so nice to meet you.

All my life I had such interest in photos. I loved the stories they told, the moments they captured, the permanence of them. My Ma had so many photo albums and she kept boxes of photos under her bed, I loved looking through them with her on the weekends I spent at her house, I loved hearing her tell me about the people in them and what was going on in her life at the time the photos were taken.

In the spring of 2023, I lost my dearest Ma to her short battle with small cell cancer. Not even a year later my step-father, Roger, suddenly passed from his own battle with cancer.  Although I was always interested in photos, it was when I was faced with the grief of Ma and Roger that I gained a whole new perspective.  I may not have my family together in the ways I wish I did, but I am forever thankful for all the photos and videos I have to look back on to remind me of the times when we were once altogether.
